Experiential gifting

“a hot new trend” according to ideas, November 2009 (p. 64), to “give someone an experience as a gift”:

· think TLC (tender loving care or pampering): a manicure, pedicure, massage, spa treatment

· think makeover: hairstyling, colouring and cut, make-up workshop

· think learning: hobby or craft workshop

· there are so many possibilities

Such a gift could make a lasting impression; bring about a significant change; open new horizons or opportunities …
